    Hello,

I am hosting a birthday party for my 10 year old son at a batting cage establishment. My question is: I spoke with one of the invitees to get his email address. I’m sending invitations via “Evite”. He told me that they will be on vacation and out of town for the event. Should I still send an invitation to them?

    Thanks,
    Richard

Why not still send the invite? There is no downside and feelings could be hurt if having mentioned the party an invite is not forthoming but I would not epect them to attend.

      • I agree. It was nice of them to let you know they couldn’t make it (sort of a preemptive RSVP), but it would hurt a thing by including them anyway.
