What is the appropriate attire for the groom and the bride’s father at a 3pm wedding followed by reception, dinner, and dancing? What should the invitation say with regard to guest attire?
Both fathers should dress the same as the groom. Guest attire depends on how formal the wedding is. Usually, attire isn’t indicated unless it is black tie or white tie, which you normally wouldn’t do for a daytime wedding. If you feel people would like to know, you can put in the bottom right corner “Semi-formal” or whatever it is.
