Is it acceptable to give trick-or-treaters a quarter (or even fifty cents) instead of a piece of candy? Thanks.
Yes, but might that prove expensive? If you have an aversion to candy, visit a school supply store; this time of year they have all kinds of Halloween motif items in bulk, i.e. pencils, erasers, stickers; per item cost should come in less than twenty-five cents!
